摘要: Ball shear test was investigated in terms of effects of important test parameters, i.e. shear height and shear speed, with an experimental and non-linear finite element analysis for evaluating the solder joint integrity of area array packages. A Pb-free solder composition was examined in this work: Sn-3Ag-6Bi-2In. The substrate was a common SMD (Solder Mask Defined) type with solder bond pad openings of 460㎛ in diameter. It could be observed that increasing shear height, at fixed shear speed, has the effect of decreasing shear force, while the shear force increased with increasing shear speed at fixed shear height. Too high shear height could cause some bad effects on the test results such as unexpected high standard deviation values or shear tip sliding from the solder ball surface. The low shear height conditions were favorable for screening the type of brittle interfacial failures or the degraded layers in the interfaces.

摘要: In order to analysis the internal relation between the matric suction change and the tunnel disease, the paper combines the Dayoushan tunnel as an engineering example, uses the mathematical, field monitoring and model shear test and to analysis the the change rule of the martic suction and the influence of martic suction on the tunnle supporting force and plastic zone. The results show that when the water content is increasing, the unsaturated loess matric suction is reduction, the force of tunnel support is increasing and the radius of plastic zone is increasing. Due to the influence of surface water infiltration, the matric suction of the around soil in Dayoushan tunnel is reduction and cause the crown settlement, landslides and lining cracks. The disease treatment mainly lies in keeping the drainage system is smooth and secure for waterproof. For the similar unsaturated loess tunnel, the research results have reference significance.

摘要: Timber constructions with glulam members have regularly to be proofed for their performance to avoid structural collapse. For the assessment of glued laminated timber, it is important to know reliable methods and criteria. The requirements given in standard EN 386:2001 are valid for the quality control of the glulam production. The use and application of these two different methods at existing timber structures were investigated and discussed. The experimental test series comprise different adhesives as well as specimen from new material and existing structures. Problems and issues noted during the test series and analyses of the results are discussed. The correlations found provide advice for the assessment of existing structures.

摘要: Bend and shear tests were used to characterize the improvement in impact behavior of various ultrahigh carbon steel laminated composites. These tests turned out to deliver much more useful information about the mechanical properties of the laminates than the Charpy impact tests and were especially interesting for characterization of laminates of very high toughness values. The toughness of the various laminates was controlled by the rolling conditions that determined the quality of the bond and the appearance of delamination by the interfaces. The bend test allows determination of yield and maximum stresses, absorbed energy and permits graphical visualization of layer fracture and delaminations as testing proceeds. The shear test allows mechanical characterization of the bond quality between layers, permitting prediction of possible delaminations, and therefore, the mechanical properties of the layered material.

摘要: An attempt was made to replace the commonly used Fiber Reinforced Polymer (FRP) with aluminium alloy in NSM technique. This paper presents experimental investigation of interfacial bond behavior between NSM aluminium laminates and concrete structures. Aluminum laminates were mounted into premade slit of concrete with epoxy resin. Test results show that both maximum applied force and ductility of NSM reinforced specimens can be effectively improved by increasing bond length and width of aluminium laminates, whilst almost no change was found in average bond strength at the same time. Besides, the loaded end slip of specimen, corresponding to the maximum applied force, was mutually influenced by bond length and width of aluminium laminates. Furthermore, the measured strain distribution of aluminium laminates along the direction of bond length of specimen was found to be similar to that of FRP in NSM technique.

摘要: The research environment is a transversely isotropic model, which is characterized with constant physical mechanical properties in different directions in the plane of isotropy, and a different properties in the direction perpendicular to the plane of isotropy. For defining parameters of shear resistance of shale (transversely isotropic model) in three mutually perpendicular directions, it is necessary to prepare 9 (nine) samples, size (8x8x8) [c, using the Mor-Coulomb's law, where the destruction of rock happens in plane of the least resistance to shear. This paper presents results got from tests performed in geomechanical laboratory.

摘要: In tillage operations to know soil reaction force on the tools working inside soil and under agricultural vehicle tires, soil mechanical parameters should be determined. Measurement and determination of soil mechanical parameters will be helpful for optimum designing of tillage tools to decrease required energy. An experimental device was developed at the University of Mohaghegh Ardabil which is able to conduct three soil mechanics tests of sinkage, penetration and shear, by which soil cohesion, internal friction, stiffness, soil constant and strength were determined. For sinkage and penetration tests an electromotor power was translated to a rectangle plate via a translating system such that moves plate or cone penetrometer vertically and forces it in soil. While fore shear test it moves shear plate horizontally as plate shears the soil. Required forces for sinkage, penetration and shearing were measured by loadcell and vertical and horizontal displacements were measure using linear potentiometer (LVDT). All data logged to a loptop via a data logger. All mentioned parameters for a type of soil were computed desirably related tests.

摘要: For the effect of environmental temperature on the rubber material stress-strain relationships, rubber tensile specimens, compression specimens and shear specimens were made. Through the electronic universal testing machine Instron 5500R, the stress-strain curves of three kinds of specimens at different temperatures were obtained. The test results showed that the stress-strain relationship of rubber material was typically nonlinear. As the temperature increased, the elastic modulus of rubber material decreased.
