摘要: The resources are divided into curable and non-curable morphologies to improve the efficiency of virtual computing systems, and we determine the quantities of such two morphologies based on resources required and resources that system owes. In the environment of tasks presenting random distribution, we describe the trend of resources required and compute the range interval of curable morphology by theoretical analysis. It is concluded that the amounts of tasks have great effect on resources required and the experiments show that the trend of decision variables in our numerical example is consistent with the theory discussed. The decision making methodology presented in this paper has some significance to the management of resources in virtual computing systems.

摘要: Currently many new business models of tourism are emerging, which makes modern e-Tourism system more sophisticated and larger than before. However, most existing e-Tourism infrastructures have become very reluctant to meet these new rapidly increasing requirements because of lack in computing and storage flexibility. So this paper presents a promising open e-Tourism framework based on cloud computing which is able to provide elastic utilities and capabilities through virtualization of computing and storage resource. The system architecture and crucial design issues are discussed in the paper.

摘要: . In this paper, we propose the concept of generalized green computing and give the limit and the scope for it, including the research task and relationship. Firstly, according to the aspects of computer system, we emphatically analyze the negative influence of computer system bringing to natural environment. Secondly, we introduce the technology and method of generalized green computing in order to analyze the deep meaning of technology hidden behind. We also put forward implement scheme of generalized green computing for research institutions and enterprises. Thirdly, we present some basic ideas and approaches of generalized green computing, aiming to form the foundation of generalized green computing on specific model, methods and tools.

摘要: Cloud computing is a model for enabling convenient, on-demand network access to a shared pool of configurable computing resources that can be rapidly provisioned and released with minimal management effort or service provider interaction. Cloud computing allows new ideas, business concepts, and prototype systems to rapidly move to market, which represents a competitive advantage. Some cloud computing models and technologies are compared in this paper.

摘要: Virtualization technology has revolted the computer technology. In the paper, we present our virtual computer cluster. The components of computer cluster have been improved by virtualization technology from the actual computer server to virtual server instance. Virtual computer cluster includes front-end machine and the cluster nodes. The front-end machine can be physical machines or virtual machines; the cluster node can also be virtual or physical machine node. The front-end machine of the cluster communicates with the cluster nodes through physical or virtual network adapter. The front-end machine connects with the cluster management software in each node so as to monitor and control every physical or virtual node within the cluster. A single virtual computer cluster extends its resources with adding physical or virtual resources including computing resources, storage resources and etc. within secure and stabile occasions with special needs. The technology can be widely applied to cluster and parallel computing demand but with lower-cost system design scenarios.

摘要: In this work the results obtained with the virtualisation of manufacturing processes engineering practices at Malaga University are analyzed. This educative innovation tool allows to increase the efficiency of students learning because they can have available previously, by means of the computer, the different practise classes that they will do later. The results show this improvement obtained with the preliminary realization in virtual way in relation to make only an attended practise being present at the laboratory.

摘要: The security usage and management of removable storage devices has become a vital problem for enterprises and individuals. However, the required strict security policies for preventing unauthorized access to sensitive data raise the decrease of usability and flexibility. The main problem rests on the binding between security and application domains which stifles the initiative of the devices on themselves. This paper presents TRS, an efficient active architecture that binds a feather-weight virtual machine (FVM) to the removable storage device. It is designed based on an inside-bound smart card as well as the chip operation system (COS) which builds a trust channel between the FVM and the device. The FVM is set up by a trust chain and provides isolated usage environment for process accessing the device which prevents the obtained data from leakage. Finally, we implement a USB flash disk we call as UTrustDisk based on the hardware structure of Amordisk which is a security product of Nationz Technologies Inc. The results show the average overhead of read and write is 7.5% and 11.5%.

摘要: The implementation of virtual practices, to complement traditional practices has turned out to be an efficient tool to solve the classical problems occurring in the teaching of technological subjects, such as the manufacture engineering field. In the current work, the integration of virtual practice sets is analysed by means of an unified platform, as an extra contribution to previous developments, generating the Manufacturing Virtual Laboratory of the Department of Manufacturing Engineering of the University of Malaga.

摘要: Secure channel technologies alone can not provide the sufficient protection to the server data as long as the server can not guarantee the trustworthiness of the client program which accesses the server. The current Trusted Computing solution offers the guarantee on the trustworthiness of the client program by evaluating the integrity of all executable elements on the client platform. However, this solution may not work effectively in the monolithic legacy and commodity operating system. This paper considers the remote attestation of program execution on the untrusted legacy platform. We propose an architecture, which (1) collects the run-time information of the client program in a secure, scalable and OS-transparent way, and (2) reports to the remote server the collected run-time information of the client program in a lightweight and secure way. The architecture achieves these features by exploiting the system virtualization technology, the existing VMI tools, and the time stamping functionality in TCG TPM. We give the detailed description of the architecture.

摘要: Cloud computing with its powerful feature has been used preliminary in some commercial areas in the world, cloud computing also is used in IT industry, and it is a new revolution in IT industry. Cloud computing is of great concerned for its characteristics of the security and reliability of data mass storages and the low requirement on the customer premise equipment, especially in the financial industry. This paper describes the basic concept, characteristics and development status of cloud computing, and on the basis, the application of cloud computing in the banking industry is discussed, and the possible problems are pointed out.
